A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to establish a season for the trapping of foxes and coyotes in surry county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, there is an open season for taking foxes and coyotes by trapping from October 15 through March 1 of each year.

SECTION 2.  No season bag limit applies to foxes and coyotes taken under this act.

SECTION 3.  The Wildlife Resources Commission shall provide for the sale of foxes taken lawfully pursuant to this act.

SECTION 4.  This act applies only to Surry County.

SECTION 5.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
