A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for the construction of a public library in the town of ahoskie.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Town of Ahoskie the sum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year to aid in the construction of a new public library to adequately serve the citizens of Ahoskie and surrounding areas.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
