GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 387
AN ACT TO EXEMPT MECKLENBURG COUNTY FROM PROVISIONS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA BUILDING CODE THAT REQUIRE BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENTS TO REVIEW RESIDENTIAL PLANS.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. Provisions of the North Carolina Building Code requiring county building inspection departments to review residential plans do not apply to Mecklenburg County.
Sec. 2. This act is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 18th day of July, 1993.
