HOUSE BILL 1262

 

AN ACT TO MAKE TECHNICAL AND CLARIFYING CHANGES TO THE CLEAN DETERGENT ACT.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 143-214.4(c)(6), as enacted by Chapter 111, Session Laws of 1987, reads as rewritten:

"(6) by a commercial laundry or textile rental service company or any other commercial entity: (i) to provide laundry service to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, other health care facilities, or veterinary hospitals or clinics or; (ii) to clean textile products owned by a commercial laundry or textile rental service company and supplied to supplied to industrial or commercial users of the products on a rental basis; or (iii) to clean professional, industrial or commercial work uniforms;".

Sec. 2.  The provisions of this act shall become effective January 1, 1988.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 13th day of August, 1987.
