CHAPTER 635
AN ACT TO REQUIRE A CONFERENCE ON JURY INSTRUCTIONS.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. The first sentence of G.S. 15A-1231(b) is rewritten to read: "(b) Before the arguments to the jury, the judge must hold a recorded conference on instructions out of the presence of the jury."
Sec. 2. This act is effective upon ratification.
