GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA

CHAPTER 121
AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE FILING PERIOD FOR CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL BE THE SAME AS FOR COUNTY OFFICERS GENERALLY.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
Section 1. The first sentence of Section 2 of Chapter 372, Session Laws of 1979 is rewritten to read: "All candidates shall file for office during the same period for filing notice of candidacy for county officers under G.S. 163-106(c)."
Sec. 2. This act is effective upon ratification.
