AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO EXTEND THE STUDY OF THE WHITE OAK RIVER.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Natural Resources and Community Development the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for fiscal year 1982-83, to fund further engineering studies of the navigation, sedimentation, water quality and other water resources problems associated with the White Oak River. The studies will determine the causes of and recommend solutions for the problems of the White Oak River. These funds are in addition to all other funds appropriated to the Department.

Sec. 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 1982.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 23rd day of June, 1982.
