AN ACT TO MAKE AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR A COOPERATIVE PROGRAM WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA BOTANICAL GARDENS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Natural Resources and Community Development for fiscal year 1979-80 the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a cooperative program between the Parks and Recreation Division and the North Carolina Botanical Gardens to develop and present a series of natural history and environmentally intrepretive programs suitable for field presentation in the State Parks at the Botanical Gardens and other appropriate sites and facilities throughout the State of North Carolina.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1979.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 8th day of June, 1979.
