AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF A LAND RECORDS INFORMATION SYSTEM.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the North Carolina Department of Administration, out of the General Fund of the State, in addition to all other appropriations, the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for the fiscal year 1976-1977. Said sum is to be used, in addition to funds otherwise available, for the purpose of research and development of a modernized land records information system to replace and upgrade existing land records information systems in the State of North Carolina, including participation in the funding of a pilot county project for the development and implementation of a modernized land records information system.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This act shall become effective on July 1, 1975.
