AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 42, ARTICLE 3, OF THE GENERAL STATUTES TO MAKE THIS ARTICLE APPLICABLE TO RENTAL OF MOBILE HOMES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  Chapter 42, Article 3, of the General Statutes is hereby amended by adding a new section to be designated as G.S. 42-36.1, to read as follows:

"§ 42-36.1.  Lease or Rental of Mobile Homes. — The provisions of this article shall apply to the lease or rental of Mobile Homes, as defined in G.S. 143-145."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon its ratification.
