HOUSE BILL 1387

AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR FOREST FIRE CONTROL PURPOSES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund to the Department of Conservation and Development, in addition to all other appropriations, $25,000 for the 1971-73 biennium, for the purpose of purchasing and operating a forest fire tractor plow unit in the Chowan County Area.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1971.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 21st day of July, 1971.
