SENATE BILL 682

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESCHEAT OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY HELD BY CLERKS OF FEDERAL COURTS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 116A-4 is hereby amended by inserting after the word "person" the words "including clerks of federal courts".

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 1971.
