HOUSE BILL 1236

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 130, SESSION LAWS OF 1967, RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION IN CERTAIN COUNTIES OF NORTH CAROLINA.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 130, Session Laws of 1967, is hereby amended by adding at the end of the paragraph entitled "Carteret", the following sentence: "Dick Parker is hereby appointed to fill the unexpired term of Harvey Hamilton, Jr.".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
