AN ACT TO REMOVE THE LIMITATION AS TO WORKING HOURS OF GIRLS EMPLOYED IN MOTION PICTURE THEATERS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 110-2 is hereby amended by striking out the last proviso in said Section and said proviso, which is hereby stricken out, reads as follows: "and provided further, that girls between the ages of seventeen and eighteen years may be employed as ticket, takers, concession attendants, and cashiers in motion picture theaters up to 10:30 at night under such rules and regulations as the Commissioner of Labor may prescribe."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
