HOUSE BILL 585

AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF WADESBORO.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 690 of the Session Laws of 1959 is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence of said Section and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

"From and after the first day of July, 1967, each member of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Wadesboro shall receive as compensation for their services such salary per month, not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) per month each, as said Board, in its discretion, may from time to time fix and determine."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 8th day of June, 1967.
