AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS OF LINCOLN COUNTY TO INSTALL A FULL-TIME AND PERMANENT REGISTRATION WITH A MODERN LOOSE LEAF REGISTRATION SYSTEM.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The Board of Elections of Lincoln County is hereby authorized and directed to establish and install a full-time and permanent registration with a modern loose leaf registration system as provided in Chapter 163 of the General Statutes of North Carolina prior to the general county primary election in 1968. The Board of County Commissioners of Lincoln County shall appropriate sufficient funds to pay the cost and expense of establishing, installing and operating a modern loose leaf registration system with a full-time and permanent registration as provided herein.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
