AN ACT TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND OF THE COUNTY ATTORNEY OF CHEROKEE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. That on and after July 1, 1967, each member of the board of commissioners of Cherokee County, except the chairman, shall receive as full compensation for his services the sum of twelve hundred dollars ($1200.00) per year, and the chairman shall receive the sum of eighteen hundred dollars ($1800.00) per year, said salaries to be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund of Cherokee County.

Sec. 2. That on and after July 1, 1967, the county attorney of Cherokee County shall receive as full compensation for his services the sum of twenty-four hundred dollars ($2400.00) per year, to be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund of Cherokee County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall apply only to Cherokee County.

Sec. 5. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1967.
