AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE TRAPPING SEASON IN CARTERET COUNTY SHALL BE CLOSED DURING THE OPEN SEASON FOR THE TAKING OF DEER, QUAIL, RABBITS, AND SQUIRRELS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The trapping season in Carteret County for all animals shall be closed during the time that the season is open for the taking and hunting of deer and quail. Any person violating the provisions of this Act while the trapping season is closed, as provided herein, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 24th day of May, 1967.
