AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE 6A OF CHAPTER 153 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF APPOINTIVE AND ELECTIVE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES, SO AS TO MAKE THE SAME APPLICABLE TO DUPLIN COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 153-48.5, as the same appears in 1964 Replacement Volume 3C of the General Statutes, is amended by inserting after the comma, following the word "Davie", and before the word "Graham", in line four of said Section, the word "Duplin".

Sec. 2. The authority granted to the Board of County Commissioners of Duplin County by this Act shall be applicable to the year ending January 31, 1967, and thereafter.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
