HOUSE BILL 268

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 90 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES, RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF CHIROPRACTIC IN NORTH CAROLINA.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 90-18(10) is hereby rewritten to read as follows:

"(10)    The practice of chiropractic by any legally licensed chiropractor when engaged in the practice of chiropractic as defined by law, and without the use of any drug or surgery."

Sec. 2.  G.S. 90-142 is hereby amended by striking out the period at the end of the paragraph and by adding the following:

"and the enforcement of the provisions of this Act."

Sec. 3.  G.S. 90-143 is hereby amended by striking out the words "twenty-four moveable vertebrae of the" in line two thereof.

Sec. 4.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 5.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
