HOUSE BILL 115

 

 

AN ACT TO REPEAL CHAPTER 417 OF THE PUBLIC LAWS OF 1933, RELATING TO THE SALE OF BEER AND LIGHT WINES IN OR NEAR THE TOWN OF ELON COLLEGE IN ALAMANCE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. It shall be lawful, subject to all the provisions of Chapter 18 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, to sell beer and wine for off-premise consumption only within the corporate limits of the Town of Elon College.

Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful to sell beer and wine for on-premise consumption within one mile of the Alamance Building, located on the campus of Elon College.

Sec. 3. Chapter 417, Public Laws of 1933, and all laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
