HOUSE BILL 973
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY AT RALEIGH FOR STUDENT TRAINING IN BEEF PRODUCTION.
The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated for the General Fund of North Carolina to North Carolina State University at Raleigh the sum of forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) for the 1967-1969 biennium, to be used for student training in beef production, as follows:

Total Academic Budget $ 35,000 $ 5,000
All proceeds from the sale of cattle raised in the performance of this program, in excess of the amount necessary to continue the beef herd at its initial level, shall be placed in the General Fund of the State.
Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
