SENATE BILL 165

 

 

AN ACT TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF MOTORBOAT REGULATIONS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  Paragraph (a) of Section 18 of Chapter 75 A of the General Statutes of North Carolina is hereby amended by rewriting the same to read as follows:

"(a)       Any person who violates any provision of §§ 75A-4, 75A-5, 75A-5.1, 75A-6, 75A‑8, 75A-9, 75A-10(c), 75A-11, 75A-13, 75A-14, and 75A-15 or who violates any provision of any rule or regulation adopted under authority of this Chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) for each such violation."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be effective on and after the date of its ratification.
