AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF HYDE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. In addition to the compensation now provided for the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Hyde County, said board of commissioners may, in its discretion, authorize such additional compensation as it may deem wise and expedient, not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per month.

Sec. 2. In addition to the compensation now provided for the Chairman of the Hyde County Board of Education, the Board of County Commissioners of Hyde County may, in its discretion, authorize such additional compensation as it may deem wise and expedient, not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per month.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective July 1, 1965.
