SENATE BILL 159

AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE SALARIES OF THE CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT, SHERIFF, AND REGISTER OF DEEDS OF WAKE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The annual salaries of the Clerk of Superior Court, Sheriff, and Register of Deeds of Wake County shall be as follows effective from and after July 1, 1965:

Clerk of Superior Court .....................................................     $14,500.00

Sheriff ..................................................................................       12,500.00

Register of Deeds ...............................................................         9,500.00

Sec. 2. Payments of the above annual salaries shall be made in twelve equal monthly installments.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
