AN ACT TO MAKE CERTAIN SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A RECONNAISSANCE AIRPLANE FOR ROCKINGHAM DISTRICT FOR FOREST FIRE CONTROL PURPOSES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Conservation and Development out of the General Fund of the State, in addition to all other appropriations, a sum not to exceed twenty-three thousand dollars ($23,000.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1965, and ending June 30, 1966, and the sum of nine thousand five hundred dollars ($9,500.00) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1966, and ending June 30, 1967, for forest fire control purposes, and more particularly for the purchase and operation of an airplane to be used for forest fire control purposes.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective July 1, 1965.
