HOUSE BILL 1107

AN ACT TO FIX THE FEES OF THE JURORS AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLUMBUS COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. All petit and grand jurors of the Superior Court of Columbus County shall receive as compensation for their services the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) per day for each day during which they are engaged in official business of the county.

Sec. 2. The members of the Board of County Commissioners of Columbus County shall receive as compensation for their services the sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) per day for each day during which they are engaged in official business of the county.

Sec. 3. The members of the Board of Education of Columbus County shall receive as compensation for their services the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day for each day during which they are engaged in official business of the county.

Sec. 4. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 5. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
