AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE THE SUM OF $15,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO BE USED FOR MAKING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE STATE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State to the Department of Agriculture the sum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) for the first year of the 1965-67 biennium, to make alterations on the interior and exterior of the Agriculture Building, housing the State Museum of Natural History, including the remodeling of the Halifax Street front entrance of the Museum, located on the site between the State Capitol and the Legislative Building; and to purchase Museum equipment and exhibit cases, required to preserve and display valuable educational exhibits of the Natural Resources of North Carolina.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1965.
