AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR TOBACCO RESEARCH AT THE BORDER BELT TOBACCO RESEARCH STATION.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State to the, Department of Agriculture the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) for the first year of the 1963-65 biennium and the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) for the second year of the 1963-65 biennium to provide for a full program of tobacco research at the Border Belt Tobacco Research Station in Columbus County.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1963.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 18th day of June, 1963.
