HOUSE BILL 1264

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 21, PRIVATE LAWS OF 1908, THE TOWN CHARTER, SO AS TO CHANGE THE TIME OF MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS IN THE TOWN OF MIDDLESEX, NASH COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 21, Private Laws of 1908, is hereby amended by deleting, in lines 4 and 5 of Section 3 thereof, the words "Monday in June" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Monday in May".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
