HOUSE BILL 1112

 

 

AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 113-111, RELATING TO CLOSED SEASON ON FOX IN PERQUIMANS COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 113-111 is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following:

"Provided, that it shall be unlawful to hunt, take, or kill foxes between the dates of February 15 and October 1 in the area of Perquimans County herein described:

"Beginning at the Perquimans River Bridge in the village of Belvidere in Belvidere Township, thence along Highway No. 37 to the Perquimans County line, thence along the Perquimans County and Gates County line northward to Jopa, thence eastwardly along the Perquimans and Gates County line 3¾ miles; thence southwardly to a county dirt road No. 1212, thence along said dirt road to a paved road No. 1001, thence westwardly to the Perquimans River, thence down the East side of the Perquimans River Bridge at Belvidere the place of the beginning."

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply to Perquimans County only.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
