AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 9-4 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES OF NORTH CAROLINA AS SAME APPEARS IN THE 1961 CUMULATIVE SUPPLEMENT TO VOLUME 1B TO PROVIDE FOR THE DRAWING OF JURORS IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. That Section 9-4 of the General Statutes of North Carolina as same appears in the 1961 Cumulative Supplement to Volume 1B be amended by inserting a new paragraph immediately following the eleventh paragraph of said Section to read as follows:

"In Montgomery County the Board of County Commissioners shall cause to be drawn as provided by law the names of fifty-four jurors for the July Term of Superior Court in said County, and thirty-six jurors for each week of other terms of court in said County."

Sec. 2. That all laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
