AN ACT FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SWAIN COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Effective as of July 1, 1963, the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Swain County shall receive for his services as chairman the sum of twenty-four hundred dollars ($2400.00) per year, to be paid from the general fund of the county in equal monthly installments.

Sec. 2. Effective as of July 1, 1963, the members of the Board of County Commissioners of Swain County, other than the chairman, shall receive for their services as members of the board the sum of sixty dollars ($60.00) per month, to be paid from the general fund of the county.

Sec. 3. Chapter 600 of the Session Laws of 1955 and all other laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective on and after July 1, 1963.
