HOUSE BILL 77

AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE JAILER OF YANCEY COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. In addition to any fees now being received by the jailer of Yancey County, said jailer shall receive the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month, payable out of the general fund of the county for performing his duties as deputy sheriff of said county.

Sec. 2. The additional compensation herein provided for shall be retroactive to the first Monday in December 1962.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 8th day of March, 1963.
