SENATE BILL 636

 

 

AN ACT RELATING TO THE SALE OF COMMERCIAL FEEDING STUFFS FOR LIVESTOCK, DOMESTIC ANIMALS AND POULTRY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 106-100, as the same appears in Replacement Volume 3A of the General Statutes of North Carolina, is hereby amended by striking out the period following the word "article" in line 15 and inserting before the word "The" the following:

"; Provided, however, the Board of Agriculture may authorize and regulate the use of some such substances in feeding stuffs to satisfy certain feeding needs determined by research findings."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1963.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 25th day of June, 1963.
