AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VEHICLES TO DENY, SUSPEND, OR REVOKE DEALER'S AND SALESMEN'S LICENSES FOR CONVICTION UNDER CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 20-294 is hereby amended by adding a new subsection at the end thereof to be numbered "(9)" and to read as follows:

"(9)      Conviction of an offense set forth under G.S. 20-105, G.S. 20-106, G.S. 20-106.1, or G.S. 20-112 while holding such a license or within five (5) years next preceding the date of filing the application."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
