AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF UNION COUNTY AND THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF MONROE TO CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY NO LONGER NEEDED FOR GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Union County and the Board of Aldermen of the City of Monroe are authorized to sell and convey, at public or private sale, for such consideration as said boards may deem adequate, those two lots located in the City of Monroe, purchased jointly by the County of Union and the City of Monroe under authority of Chapter 183 of the Public-Local Laws of 1919, said lots being described in a deed from Union County Warehouse Company to Union County and the City of Monroe, recorded in Book No. 54, at Page 664, and in a deed from the Savings Loan and Trust Company to Union County and the City of Monroe, recorded in Book No. 56, at Page 667, in the office of the Register of Deeds of Union County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
