HOUSE BILL 387

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE EXERCISE OF POWERS BY POLICE OFFICERS ONE MILE BEYOND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF CLARKTON IN BLADEN COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Members of the Police Department of the Town of Clarkton in Bladen County shall have, in all territory embraced within one mile in all directions of the corporate limits of said town, all the power and authority which they now exercise within the corporate limits of said town.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 28th day of April, 1961.
