AN ACT TO REVISE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE COMMISSION ON INTERSTATE COOPERATION.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  Section 143‑178, as the same appears in the 1959 Supplement to Replacement Volume 3B of the General Statutes of North Carolina, is hereby rewritten to read as follows:

"Section 143‑178.  North Carolina Commission on Interstate Cooperation. There is hereby established the North Carolina Commission on Interstate Cooperation. This Commission shall be composed of ten members as follows:

(1)        Speaker of the House of Representatives;

(2)        Three Senators designated by the President of the Senate;

(3)        Three Representatives designated by the Speaker of the House; and

(4)        Three administrative officials designated by the Governor."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
