AN ACT PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN DELINQUENT TAXES OF MACON COUNTY, WHEN COLLECTED, SHALL BE PAID INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The first fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) of all delinquent taxes for the year 1958 and prior years, collected in Macon County shall be paid into the general fund of said county. In the future, the first fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) collected each year on taxes that are as much as one year past due shall be paid into the general fund of said county.

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply to Macon County only.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1959.
