HOUSE BILL 658

AN ACT RELATING TO THE LOCATION OF NEW CEMETERIES IN OR WITHIN ONE MILE OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF BREVARD IN TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. There shall be no new cementery located in the Town of Brevard or within one mile of the corporate limits of said town unless permission for the location of such new cemetery is obtained both from the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Brevard and from the Board of County Commissioners of Transylvania County.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
