AN ACT REPEALING SECTION 2 OF CHAPTER 275, PUBLIC-LOCAL LAWS OF 1931, AS REWRITTEN, AND SECTION 3 OF CHAPTER 4, PUBLIC-LOCAL LAWS OF 1935, SO AS TO PLACE THE CONSTABLE OF ASHEVILLE TOWNSHIP ON A FEE BASIS AFTER THE FIRST MONDAY IN DECEMBER, 1960.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 275, Public-Local taws of 1931, as rewritten by Section 1 of Chapter 4, Public-Local Laws of 1935, Chapter 633, Session Laws of 1949, and by Chapter 202, Session Laws of 1951, be and the same is hereby repealed effective on the first Monday in December, 1960. The purpose of this Act is to place the Constable of Asheville Township on a fee basis beginning on the first Monday in December, 1960.

Sec. 2. That Section 3 of Chapter 4, Public-Local Laws of 1935, be and the same is hereby repealed effective on the first Monday in December, 1960.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 28th day of April, 1959.
